We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers.

Role Summary

The Operations & Logistics Manager is responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of Ceedmart’s retail store, inventory, warehouse activities, logistics operations, and fulfillment processes.

The role is accountable for ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy, cost-effective logistics, store readiness, security, and timely order fulfillment.

The successful candidate will continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, improve inventory control, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations Management

• Oversee the daily opening and closing of the store.

• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and operational at all times.

• Maintain operational standards across all areas of the business.

• Develop and enforce operational procedures and controls.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records.

• Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.

• Coordinate receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of products.

• Conduct periodic inventory audits and stock counts.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

• Reduce inventory losses, damages, and shrinkage.

Logistics & Fulfillment Management

• Coordinate customer deliveries and product pickups.

• Manage relationships with delivery personnel and logistics partners.

• Optimize delivery routes and logistics planning.

• Monitor delivery performance and service quality.

• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.

• Minimize logistics costs while maintaining service standards.

Procurement Receiving & Inbound Logistics

• Coordinate receipt of products from suppliers and distributors.

• Manage inbound shipments arriving from other states.

• Verify quantities and quality of received products.

• Ensure products are properly documented and entered into inventory.

• Coordinate movement of products between storage and retail locations.

Security & Asset Management

• Ensure proper safeguarding of inventory and company assets.

• Implement loss prevention measures.

• Coordinate store security processes and procedures.

• Investigate operational incidents and discrepancies.

• Maintain accountability for inventory movement and storage.

Team Leadership

• Supervise store support personnel, warehouse personnel, and logistics staff.

• Develop work schedules and operational assignments.

• Monitor staff productivity and performance.

• Provide coaching and operational guidance.

• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Process Improvement

• Analyze operational bottlenecks.

• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

• Develop systems to improve productivity and reduce waste.

• Implement operational best practices.

• Establish operational performance dashboards and reporting mechanisms.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4–7 years experience in retail operations, logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Experience managing inventory and operational processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting.

Preferred

• Experience working in retail, distribution, e-commerce, FMCG, or logistics businesses.

• Experience supervising operational teams.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems.

• Understanding of last-mile delivery operations.
