Compensation: ₦100,000 – ₦180,000 Monthly + Sales Incentives

Role Summary

The Sales & Marketing Associate will be responsible for supporting daily store operations, serving customers, driving product sales, and participating in field and digital marketing activities.

This role combines customer service, retail sales, and marketing execution. Successful candidates will alternate between in-store sales activities and marketing campaigns coordinated by the Growth & Marketing Lead.

The ideal candidate is confident, articulate, technology-savvy, customer-oriented, and motivated by achieving measurable targets.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Attendant

  • Welcome and assist customers visiting the store.

  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.

  • Generate sales and achieve assigned monthly targets.

  • Process customer purchases accurately.

  • Support product merchandising and shelf organization.

  • Maintain product knowledge across all Ceedmart categories.

Customer Service

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences.

  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally.

  • Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.

  • Build strong customer relationships that encourage repeat purchases.

Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Participate in field marketing campaigns and activations.

  • Support community outreach and customer engagement activities.

  • Distribute promotional materials and create awareness about products and promotions.

  • Assist with social media content creation when required.

  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence.

Sales Administration & Cash Handling

  • Record all transactions accurately.

  • Maintain proper sales records and documentation.

  • Reconcile daily sales and cash balances.

  • Ensure accounting records are accurate and complete at the end of each shift.

  • Report discrepancies promptly.

Operational Support

  • Maintain cleanliness and professionalism within the store.

  • Assist with inventory checks and stock management.

  • Support product receiving and shelf replenishment.

  • Follow company policies and operational procedures.

Sales Performance

  • Monthly sales target achievement

  • Upselling and cross-selling performance

Customer Service

  • Customer satisfaction ratings

  • Repeat customer interactions

Operational Performance

  • Daily sales reconciliation accuracy

  • Cash handling accuracy

  • Compliance with operational procedures


Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Basic computer literacy.

  • Ability to use mobile apps and digital tools.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good numerical and record-keeping abilities.

  • Customer-focused mindset.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in retail sales, marketing, customer service, or business development.

  • Experience using POS systems.

  • Experience in FMCG, electronics, retail, solar, or distribution businesses.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic reporting.
